Just keep it. Or take it apart to see how adaptable the parts might be.

You have a switch, a motor, some gears. It might have a variable speed motor.

All of these can be used in projects. Typically, I start with a project first, and then I think about parts. If you don't have any projects in mind, just add it to your collection of junk that will probably never be used, but when you need a specific item, that pile of junk can be a nice resource.

This board has way too many of these "I have so-and-so, What do" threads.
