Solar Oven questions

Hey guys! I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me,,

I want to build a solar oven based off pic related. Turn it on it's side so it is a side opening door (think pizza oven)

- Could I build out of ply? I have some offcuts but I think pic related would be simpler and more effective.

- Does it matter that it will be steel on top? Most solar ovens are top loading with perspex or similar lid. Surely the heat will transfer just as well through the metal than the glass?

-Should I burn it out a few times first before using it?

- Will bubble wrap insulation be enough? I have half a roll, if it's not sufficient will 3m board insulation be better?

- How big should I make the reflectors? For simplicity sake I'm going to make them rectangle, and just mount them on simple hinges, adjusting the angle with string between each other

- Aluminium (cooking) foil for the reflective surfaces okay?

Any help would be really appreciated! I've been roped into building this thing!
