Hi diy, am looking to get into a trade, need help deciding.
Quick backstory though, for the past year I've been working as a part time relief milker (New Zealand) I went to an ag school and got top of my class of 50 people, got hired from within the school and have been doing random high paying dairy jobs for the past year now. I don't very much enjoy dairy farming it was just something to get me out of school and into a full time job. I recently applied to the army and if I don't get into the next 2 intakes then I can either.
>Go to Australia and work in a warehouse / tractor driver (dads over there and I have tractor experience so getting a job should be piss easy)
Or

That's an excellent choice of sandwich.
If I were you I'd be looking at jobs that are related to ag but not actually working on a farm. See if you can get into agricultural banking or something.

I like to think I have a brain, but preferably I'd like to go through life without puller through said brain, my worst nightmare is working a high stress job.
I've always sorta wanted to be a full time fencer, it was my favourite part of dairy farming. Not really sure how you get into it in New Zealand, there's no qualifications you need you just have to be self taught or find a company that will teach you. Do you reckon I should head over to Australia if I don't get in the army? My ideas always sorta been to abuse the fucked economy over there and come back here to buy a house.
