anybody here has experience with wraping foil ?

I wannaupgrade my roadbikes paintjob with some dazzle camo inspired details and was thinking about doing it via wrapping foil.

are there any specific brands I should look out for ?
anything special about the foil ?

You want vinyl wrap, plenty of vids on the youtubes about how to apply it

Foil as in kitchen foil? Fuck that.

Either get vinyl wrap online, or use HVAC tape.
Its like duck tape, but shiny.

I'm talking about the stuf that's ment for car wrapping like the 3M Scotchprint 1080 Car Wrap

however there are cheaper options and I don't know what to look for in that stuff and if the higher price is justified.

The common name for it is "vinyl wrap".
It's all plastic and no aluminum in it.

3M one might offer better resistance to UV or scratches.
Realistically it won't matter at all. It's all stretchy vinyl.

I've bought cheap camo vinyl wrap from Aliexpress and have no complaints.
