Ill get to the point.
Is it woth it to join a place like techshop?
Cons price, tou have to jojn, and then pay a price for every safety
pro, access to tools nost could never own, like waterjets, cnc , ect.
I am planning on building a shop in my garage. But a 1 year membership is less than 1/3 the price of the saw i was looking at. And they have the saw i was going to buy.
For the cost of my shop i could buy a lifetime membership.
But it isnt "mine"

Well you outlined the pros and cons yourself. In the end it will come down to the individual.
I wouldn't buy a "lifetime" membership upfront (don't know their terms) because no business lasts forever.
I'd say it's a better deal if you move locations more than occasionally.

They are a bunch of hipster SJW fagots. You should avoid them like an aids infested zombie.

>Paying to use someone elses cuckshed
that's like 6 levels of unironic cuckholding.

I am a tech shop member. The tools are dull and often out of tram. The classes will barely give you enough info.
That being said, where else will you have access to millers and cnc and powdercoat devices? Also, once you've paid for membership, if you know what you're doing, you can just use whatever machine. They hardly come around and check. Been using the cnc miller for months and gotten no trouble even though I'm not trained on it

I'd never join a for-profit hackerspace. Don't you have better ones?
