Hi,
here is short video of this new kind of algaereactor I have been developing.

Here is more about spirulina in permies:
https://permies.com/t/64306/Spirulina-cultivation-part-permaculture
what exactly does a bioreactor/algaereactor do? Just cultivate algae for I'm assuming food?

for animals.
turn animal manure into spirulina and feed it to animals= profit.
also you can use spirulina for crops to improve nutrient uptake.

Super cool man. I recommend the next step you take is trying to synthesis protein powder from it. You will literally have infinite food and live longer than anyone who has ever surfed 4chan.
I made it a little smaller and got the plastics closer to each other.

There is an algae bro that sometimes posts in the Homegrowmen threads: >>>/out/1029564

>profit.
I'm not so sure.
How much are you paying for the electricity to run the pump and light?
Also, it looks like there's more water in the bucket then the reactor.
Doesn't that mean each algae cell spends most of its time in the darkness of the bucket?
Could I use spirulina for crops? Lets say I have a white plastic 1000L water tank. I use it to water my onions, peppers, cucumbers, tomatos, shit like that. So I put some spirulina culture in the tank and leave it for two days. Could I use it for watering the veggies? All natural ofc
Is there a way to make it aesthetic ? I mean the work is great, but I'm not sure to want that in living room.

As I understand, spirulina is a nitrate consumer. And it's not manufacturing minerals out of nothing. So I don't see the point.
>>1189229
web search "photobioreactor"
>>1189032
How would something like that be done?
>>1189672
Hmm.. I will look into it. I work in a supplement shop and I am interested in manufacturing of pretty much anything. I will report my findings in a few days.

Make a white rounded corner enclosure with viewing window and use clear piping halves for the waterfall.

It's pretty risky for an amateur to try to grow algae for eating because it so easily becomes contaminated with other species, and even pure spirulina is potentially harmful:

Stick to sprouting broccoli seeds.

That is true, you want to avoid bacteria by having proper PH levels
That said, that site is retarded
Here is another one that has countless, direct sources

>>1189833
You may want to do regular lab tests or learn to properly identify the shit your growing so that you're not growing toxic fungi and shit.
>>1189833
The related video pages have lists of direct sources. examine.com is dum because it has Makita colors.

I kind of want to do something similar for chlorella, problem is i have no idea what to do with chlorella enough to justify growing it and google just has a ton of blogs telling me it'll cure my cancer and "cure" me of being vaccinated.
Does it make a good fertiliser or something?

its prototype. it is not meant to be ready but just test the new algaereactor.
you can grow algae with 0 electricity. but if you want it to grow fast, you will need some tricks.

yes you can use it for crops it will increase the benefit, just see these:

There is always bacteria in spirulina cultures. You did not know that spirulina grown for human consumption, is done in open ponds?
Here is your spirulina culture: with spiral bacteria!
Also some green algae, but it is harmless.

Broccoli sprouts are awesome! Get that sulforaphane, son!
