Pocket Juice (aka lithium charge pack for phones and such.)
Had for a few years. Never use it while charging. Try to never run it to 2nd light out of 4 so im guessing half capacity. But i use this fucker always. Lately the battery hasn't lasted for shit and i had planned on replacing them.
However. Now it seems to not be charging. Typically when plugged into the wall it flashes through the lights showing charge level. Now, nothing but darkness. It has been under half capacity and i quit using it.
You reckon the batteries are kill?
If the bms and charging circuit is out i have an $80 brick from walmart.
Also, it has a seem down the side but a rubber coating that doesnt want to come off. Heat would damage the batteries if they are any good so razor knife? As u can ser from the scratching i couldnt get it to peel off.
Any advice is welcome. I will get it apart 1 way or another so we can look at it. Even if it takes a hammer.
12 amp.

Bring it to batteries plus. Iirc also, lithium is better to fully discharge before recharging.

In the future, buy battery banks where the back comes off and lets you easily replace individual cells. That exists, now you know.

Meh, this was 2 years ago. I am saving for a spot welder now. Gonna make my own from panasonic 18650 cells. The control boards and shit i will buy tho. Thanks for the advice. At the very least i will be sure that whatever one i vuy has screws so i can get into it without a hammer. Likely hammer time tonight. Live in bfe. No vattery stores or the like within 2 hours. Will try and keep it from an hero but we will see.

Incorrect operation, you've been wasting cycles and artificially lowering the capacity of the pack.
You want to take it down to close to empty before charging it, it's been far longer than you think since what you did was the correct procedure.

Use the ones out of this pack.

If they work yes. I actually got drunk and lost the thing. Sorry. Will try and crack it open soon. But in my defense this is the shit i was up to, so losing pocket juice was almost inevitable
