So I wanna replicate the desk in the picture but i don't even know where to start or what kind of wood to buy or what the legs are made of please help.

I'm guessing that's all they did.

>butcher block
Would they sell that at home depot?

Yes, but it may be unfinished. /g/ likes to get theirs from ikea.

the easyest?
particle board and legs
or wood board and legs
its like 5 things + like 16 screws
and you can buy it premade or do it yourself

then you aren't searching.
You could also use industrial pipe just for the legs. Super cheap:

lol, I saw this in a battle station thread on /g/ yesterday.
I will eventually need a new desk but first I need a good reclining desk chair. I've had a few back surgeries and I want to be able to use my desk again.
Old advice but buy a door and add some legs for a decent desk. Imo though go for a dinner table since you have 7 inch speakers youll need the depth.
Hard woods only

Filing cabinets are the standard legs for door desks. I got mine for $6 each at a thrift store.

legs look like tubing with a foot on it and a plate to attach it to the wood, likely small wood screws in a square or circular pattern fastening the tubing to the bottom of the table.
do yourself a favor and make the feet adjustable up/down slightly and use a wood level to level it out, won't rock and should be a good desk for a long time.

for real?
I need some fucking filing cabinets.

Looks like two 2x12's with center locked biscuits and diagonal toe-in joints on the lateral strut supports.
