Hi /diy/ I was just wondering what is a good brand of blow in the dark paint to use on wallpaper? I'm currently trying to create a stencil and was wondering what to look out for with paint. Is natural light required as well? Or can a light bulb work on the paint?

Krylon like 7 bucks a can at walmart lowes hobby lobby etc.
Bright light on it for a bit. Can be a fuckboy flashlight if needed. Just wand over it some and kill the lights.
Have fun

Thank you!

OP again I tried that Krylon spray paint but I found it's too light blue boarding on green. Is there a way to darken it to a more dark blue?

Sure, just spray another color down and go over it with the glow krylon. Might take some experimenting. I found it reacts great with fake chrome spray paint.
Good luck!
Oh, blacklight works wonders with it and u dont have to charge it that way

The butterfly on your pic is dead.

Are you sure you don't want to stencil a living one (as in natural wing position)?

Ah maybe but I'm more leaning towards the dead one. I had an idea for more stencils so I might use some of the in flight ones, thank you anon!
pic was my other choice but the one I settled on was because of the tails on the end of the lower wings

Sure, whatever. I just wasn't sure if you knew that it was dead.

Thank you anon!

Well good luck op. You could always check out the cheap hobby lobby airbrush setups and mix your own. They also sell candy color krylon. Its clear but lightly tinted. Might give u the blue u need

Ah I have a hobby airbrush for model kits so I might use that haha thank you!
