What materials would you use and all that? Thanks in advance. Never been to this board.
Scaffolding bars, generally best stolen from work sites when no one is looking, but you can buy them.
Plus can be taken apart for space

PVC filled with concrete. I found that tree climbing steps work for pull ups.
sink 4x4s in the ground in concrete, with a piece of pipe attached between them?
>>1179837
If you are going to steal scaffolding then the very least you can do is replace the safety tag with a not approved.

i assume you want to get a fit body instead of the sole purpose of pulling yourself up and down so i suggest you better start rock climbing, you'll have to use all of your muscles and since it's far more fun, it's easier to progress... if it's just for doing some exercise in your garden and keep in mind your whole body and not just your biceps gymnast rings are for me a far better choice. made with some rope and old bike handles or some pipe.

At my job at FedEx they had some round 1 in steel tube left over and the managers asked to have it put between a conveyor upright next to their desk so they could do pullups consistently.
The yard shop on site billed them $250 for 2 welds and the tube.

Youtube has plenty of builds.
Worst case.. find a tree branch.
Steel pipe and various T- and elbow connectors if you're heavy or want them to last forever and want the absolute quickest, simplest freestanding thing. I drew up a diagram using professional industrial drafting software, please do not share.
Here's the one I made 9 years ago.
Materials: Two 10ft 4x6's - two bags of concrete - one weight lifting bar

I made mine to resemble the ones I saw in the Army. Ingredients:
post hole digger
two 6"x6"x10' pres. treated lumber
two bags of Quikrete
1.5" wood drill bit
cordless drill
3'x1.5" steel pipe
brown paint for the wood
black krylon for the bar
Dig 3 1/2' foot deep holes three feet apart, insert lumber. Pour in cement powder, add water, stir. Refill with dirt. Should be stable but give it a day. Get a step stool. Drill a hole into the lumber 6" from the top. Insert steel bar through both holes, you may need to pound it with a rock or something. Paint the lumber and spray the bar. Let dry.
I'm 5'11" 280lb and it supports my weight fine, even on a jumping grab. Good luck with your gains OP.

Bruce lee was a hack who couldnt actually fight. All hollywood. Dont believe that people could be that naive back then?
Cities were banning nunchakus like they were guns because of the movies. Back when people thought WWF was real.
He was a petty gangster who fled china after fucking some people over, they eventually found him and he was murdered by the chinese mafia

This "TRUTH IN 4CHAN" moment brought to you by Autism.
>>1184267
Or a simple google search that shows he was an actor not an actual fighter
>>1184277
Fella, OP didn't post Bruce Lee because he wanted to learn to fight. He posted a picture of famous abs because he wants to be jacked and wants to build a pull-up bar.
Learn to context. Bye now faggot.

Find strong tree branch (or any other overhead structure), hang gymnastics rings.
>>1179834
I used 2 eucalyptus logs and make a hole in both of them (I did a 25mm, but i fucked up, you should do a 50mm minimum cut, to put 40mm+ galvanized steel pipe)
You can use Flat boring drill or don't fuck up as I did and ask for the Timber place where you may buy the Logs to Cut the holes for you.
>>1185949
btw, it's my frist time posting here. I'm planning on changing the bar to a 45mm+ galvanized steel pipe, i'll try to use this >>1183807 , if somehow it doesn't help to enlarge the already 25mm+ hole I'll just buy a bigger one
