Hey Fellas, I have a two story garage that I've been using for smoking with friends for maybe 3 weeks or so now, and I've noticed how shabby and dull it is, it's just a cluttered mess and I want to make it a more comfy place to hangout at. I was looking for any suggestions on how I can improve the place; I have anything you see in the pictures at my disposal (for the most part). A good amount of room, I can take some rough measurements if anyone's interested. But in all that's it, any ideas?

Finish it with sheet rock. And maybe some carpet or tile..

Carpet probably is most realistic, I've been thinking about doing that

carpet is just going to get fucked up, and that right quick. get some of the plastic faux wood flooring. the stuff that snaps together.
drywall it. 1/4" is cheap and you can easily hang all that area in a day.

Beanbag chair and a blacklight poster. Duh.
Drywall that sumbitch, it'll take a weekend or two. Don't believe the "it'll take a day MAX" folks. You'll be researching the shit on how to hang drywall, buying all the shit you need, doing it, then evaluating if you've fucked up or not. Just plan 2 weekends for drywall if its your first time.
I'd say do some super cheap laminate, see if theres a lumber liquidators near you to buy some really cheap stuff, then buy an area rug to over the top of it.
Get some chairs and end tables from craigslist and enjoy you little smoking room. Don't forget some lighting, you can get away with hanging lights with exposed cords/chains so you don't have to dick around with conduit and electrical behind the drywall.
If thats the space you're working with, get some insulation in there. Insulation pays for itself if you've got to pay for AC or heating. I assume this is your parents garage, but still, some insulation and a portable AC unit would be wonderful in the summer.

you need some seating, i'd get a hi-top table and stools. you need something besides a plywood floor, i'd get a fucking $20 rug. It looks like you got a light already, but if you put a dimmer on it and get a lampshade it'd be nicer. I assume your bitch wife won't let you smoke downstairs, so you might wanna put that box fan in the window.
