hey /diy/
I managed to grab a really nice groupset on ebay for very cheap. the thing is the group was taken from a tt bike and so there were no brifters but only barends.
I want to put the whole group on my roadbike and I want to use the bar ends in the same way the gevenalle shifters use them.
the pic is showing said shifters
the system is made up of 4 parts.
the brake lever, the shifter mount, the shifter axel and the the actual shifter.
I have a brake lever the shifter axle and a shifter
I will 3d print the shifter mount via shapeways strong and flexible
but how do I connect the brakelever with the shifter axle and the shifter mount ?
side view of the shifter
here you can the the brake lever with the shifter axle protruding through the shifter mount.
and here are are all the relevant parts.
2 is the axle
3 is a shifter mount but I will need to either build a new one or somehow attach a cable stop to the existing one.
here'se a pic from behind the lever.
it looks like the have a screw holding the shifter axle in place
Hey op, if no one knows here you should ask over on /n/. All of the bicycle folk hang out there.

thanks, I thought this might be more up /diy/s sleeve since the tech itselfe is basically sorted.
my biggest question is how can I mount the shiftermount +axle combo elegantly and robust to the lever ?
I thought about just using epoxy but somehow I don't really trust "glue"
