So, I got my Saturn controller out after years and noticed it is full of little scratches. What's a good way to get rid of these so it's all smooth and shiny again?

Some other pictures. I took the controller apart so it's easier to clean.

playing it would wear out the scratches
those scratches shouldn't bother anyone

My goal is to repair the controller, though, so it looks brand new.
What about the shit they use on cars to fill scratches?

No
That stuff repairs clear coats, the headlight buffing compounds would leave more microscratches.

Get back on your medication?

Is wanting to repair things really such a bad idea?

It ain't broken. Can't fix what ain't broke. Quit being a fussy little shit.
I used a heat gun on some faded motorbike plastics. keyed it first with sandpaper, then applied the heat, it melted a bit and then set shiny again. I'd leave that controller as it is though.
Put cool stickers on it
Sell it and buy a new mint one
Wet and dry sandpaper, used wet - start at maybe 600 grit and work up to 1500-2000 grit before polishing to a high gloss with something like Meguiars Plastx Polish.

See if it can be buffed out? A gentle low-rpm buffing along with some polishing compound might help.

white toothpaste
MAYBE headlight scratch remover
if that fails then try 2000 grit wet sandpaper and work your way down in grit

No, it's an 'autism' thing...
Mr Clean magic eraser, just don't use it over the logo because it will remove it.

What i use for when im building gunpla is this nail filer that has a nail shinner or something on the other side. I should work on this because the plastic is both abs
