Need ideas to build portable led light, i will probably use lithium batteries (pouch type) or 18650 cells, it will be probably 10w but i need to design case.
I plan to use plexiglass or acryl (plastic) so it will look like "box" with clear front, something like led floodlights

Im all about led shit since before it was cool. Been harassing watter cooled led flashlight bro from day 1. Shit can be cheap and efficient or sunburn like welding. What application are we after here? U need a fog light or head lamp or camp lighting or...

Yep,im using leds for 5 or more years now.
I need something like floodlight, something that i can use on camping or in workshop when there is no power (maybe even backyard), so no lenses
The YouTuber "Great Scott" has a well put together video on making exactly this, you can download his schematics and see exactly how he did it. It's worth checking out

I would either order some resisters and 5mm led off ebay with a few boards or if u want a waterproof solution get some cheap car fog lights.
Protip: bump the tip of led on a grinder or sander if u can.
Will diffuse the light making it more of a fog light.

ok if you have a cool design in mind. but if you're like me then you'll think a box is ok.
if you have your heart set on it, keep in mind that a small point source, focused and collimated provides far better sharpness in low light conditions. sharp shadows help you discriminate objects in the dark far more easily than a low powered floodlight.
