Hello!
I need to strip my deck and stain it. It currently has a paint stain I need to remove. Looking for a powerful enough pressure washer to do the job.. is 3100 psi enough? Would a 2100 psi (much cheaper) still powerful enough to strip paint?

The power comes from the jet tip. Either one of those machines would work if you had the right tip. Wherever you are shopping pressure washers should have explained this.

both will work for wood you'll want lower pressure then work up, use the throttle for that yellow tip is best

Power washers do not work well uh this application and will most likely damage the deck surface before removing paint.

It's normally better to remove paint with a heat gun over a pressure washer
