I have a CNC carvewright that currently doesn't work I need some. Ideas of what to do with it can I use all the parts to build something sweet?
(I am a welder /millwright by trade but don't know CNC to well)
I don't want to fix it as carvewright offers no parts or support in Canada I'd have to spend more then the machine is worth to me for 2 cables
what doesnt work about it?
the sweetest thing you can build is a cnc...
what kind of cables? post pics you are much better off keeping it as a cnc

what cables are they? Worst case, the pinout can be figured out and you can wire up your own. Are there any forums for that machine? You could try and ask for help there.

How would you go about figuring out the pin out?

you cheap canadian prick
half of those cables can be made with a single trip to SAYAL
the other half are either cheap enough or can be found in common consumer electronics ie ribbon cables
you dont have to know CNC to fix a CNC, thats the easiest part of a CNC, and to be blunt, if you cant fix it, the odds are you wont be able to make something cooler with the sum of its parts
