I was looking around my old room yesterday and found my old PSP (Model 3001 if that matters). The battery was expanded and would no longer fit into the compartment on the back, and shoving it in harder / charging made no difference. My battery type is pic related, I've already taken it apart. I was following a few tutorials to make it run off of 3 AAA batteries, but I can't tell the difference between the Positive and Negative terminals on the battery controller board. They're labled LD1 and LD2. Any advice?

Red wire = positive
Black wire = negative
????
Multimeter will tell you for sure.

There weren't any wires, there were two metalribbons connecting the board to the battery.
