found this awesome schematic on how to make audio output selector.can a pot be added to control the volume before dpdt switch? Thanks
this assembly is to enable both headphones and speakers to be connected all the time

If you're going to drive speakers and headphones, not really. It isn't impossible or anything, but the results are crap.
what if a pot is added to one of the lines only? just to enable volume control for headphones

Its kinda stupid to do it before the switch. You'll just end up forgetting to adjust the volume before you flip the switch and blow out your ears or the headphones.

Bumping for master race selector.
Mfw want knob for headset, wow noises, buddy talking, pandora. All at same time. 4 knobs. 4 outputs....
found this tho

I'd rather replace "speakers" with amp. And I'd put volume pot after dpdt switch to control only headphone's volume. But you must know, that dpdt switch isn't great choice, cause it isn't "audiophile quality".
It works when you want just hear sound or listnening to mp3s, not playing good quality like flac.

Pro-tip: Use a 'log' pot, not a 'lin' pot.
They are also called type a and type b but I can't remember which is which

of course. try getting a pot and connect the wire coming from the input to pin 2 of the pot, and then pin 3 connects to the switch. pin 1 is unconnected. pic related.
if the pot is all the way down and there's still a little noise, put a resistor after pin 3. if you want everything louder in general, look into an OP-amplifier circuit. i can link u a few.

way to fuck up your output impedance, don't do it.

>way to fuck up your output impedance
>thinking headphones and speakers are the same impedance
