That would mean a consumption of only about 150wh/day(including phone charging) . Even with losses even 2 good sun hours would be sufficient.

It's not like they are running a computer or electric stove in there, they likely use gas for everything even water heating

General Framing is making the wooden structures for building. People don't usually frame things just as a hobby; it's what construction workers do. If you want to get a job doing carpentry, look for apprenticeships via google. In the US, the state will have a list of all registered apprenticeships, and you can also check out your local community college for either programs at the school or contact info for programs run by the union or a company.

If you want to just do it for fun, there are many ways to start. You'll only need a few hand tools at first, so space and money shouldn't be a problem. A good way might be to think of a simple project that sounds fun, and then buy the materials and tools for that. With every project you can accumulate a few more tools, and your skill will increase along with your tool set.
