I was watching a podcast and they had what looked like a flag made of ruff cut lumber blocks and either they painted the black parts or used a torch. I can't find anything like this on Google and was wondering if anyone has seen something like this up close? I would like to try and make a flag like this of my state but am not sure if it's wood or just some plastic Costco type thing.

Well if you want to diy it, you could get a bunch of wood and screw and glue them together, then hnd paint a flag pattern on it the either spash paint thinner on it or leave it our in the sun for a few weeks
almost looks like it's painted on a brick wall
it could be done with wood, painting would be easier than burning
Whatever you do don't fake the distressing like some gay ass pottery barn shit
Paint a wooden board, throw it around the dirt, leave it in the rain and sun for a few months

I'm not really sure what it is but it's not part of a wall. It's hard to get a clear screen cap of it.

Seen one at my local bar; Texas shaped. I think its made put of a type of foam and was printed. But does have that 1 x 2 wood look.
