I have a 2000 s10 with chevy lean. Last summer I did the front suspension and steering. To correct the lean i put a 1.5" rubber spacer under the spring. That brought the front end up to almost level but the back driver side is now noticeably sagging compared to the other corners.
Instead of buying new springs I was thinking of getting a pair of Hellwig 550 helper springs and using them to level it out. Would I be able to bring one side up by tightening it's helper down more?
Should have just thrown some bags of gravel or quikcrete in the back.

This is a valid solution but I'd rather not roll around with bags of gravel in the bed :P
Follow up question; which is better, over or under leaf helpers?

Whichever is easier to install, id say. I think the real question is "WHY?" It's an 00 s10, dude. If i were you, I'd be stoked it was running and the driver door wasnt sagging. The front end is tight now, I'm not even joking but if that's also got decent tires on it, it's probably the safest 00 s10 left on earth.

lol. I replaced the bronze bushings on the driver side door a couple years ago.
The answer to why is now that I can see the lean from front to back it bugs me and I'll throw 50 bucks at it to make it go away.
Update, got the lift kit today for $35. Went on in 15 minutes. Gained 1.5" on the low side. Now within 1/4" from left to right. Stiffened the rear end up too. I'm calling worth.

Nice. When you're in it it will probably be closer, too. I still think you're crazy, but props to you for fixing it, and the door too
