Im totally new, how can I get into this ? I want to build an airplane like pic related with my dad, we know basic or medium mechanics about cars; sources for prototypes or instructions ? I always liked WWI airplanes specially those with many wings, if anyone has something to give I would be very grateful, gonna be posting whatever comes from this from time to time

you want to build a real airplane or a model?

If you're in the USA, check out the Experimental Aircraft Association, EAA.

Be advised, depending where you live it may be impossiable to get the plane inspected and registered if you dont have a aircraft mechanic certificate from your governments avation administration if it is home built.

You want a FAR 103 plane (ultra light) your picture is going to require an actual license, you might get by with a light sport license

There are kits online. I think that's the best your going to get with out your power plant, as well as a lot of experience. Aircraft like in your pic are very difficult to DIY from raw materials, and building an engine like that would be suicide unless you knew exactly what you were doing. It would also take years to build. Aircraft like that aren't something you throw together in a weekend. I know a pilot who's been working on the same plane for 3 years, and it's only about half done.
Cost and time are a huge factor.
If I were you guys, I would start with an Ultralight/Experimental class aircraft first. They can be very fun to fly, and are relatively inexpensive. You can also get plans and parts online, and the parts a readily available. An ultralight or experiential aircraft will also cut down on the FAA bullshit red tape as well.
You guys seem mechanically inclined, and have a desire to get into aviation, so I wish you the best.

You could also call up your local flight school or pilots club and explain your situation. Ask if anyone is building currently, and see if anyone would be willing to show you the ropes. Just tell them you're new to aviation, and want to get into flying without spending 100g on a brand new plane.
With any luck, you should find someone willing to share with you and your dad.

Also consider asking a local *ultralight* club/school before going to a pilot club/ flight school : culture is sooo more "white-gloves" into pilot club/flight schools than in ultralight enthusiasts club
