Hi /diy/
I recovered a 23" 1680×1050 LCD panel from an old laptop and I want to use it as a screen.
I searched online and everyone use smaller laptop screen to do so
Now since my panel seems to have more than one socket I was wondering if anyone here knew what to use on it
Pic related are what I'm talking about

There's an eBay seller based in China that lives off people sending them specs and they send back the needed chips to run the display. Ordered from them before, like 30 bucks for an inverter(whatever the fuck that does) and control circuit. Works like a charm, turned old laptop display and raspberry pi into a weather station with it.
No fukken clue what they were named though. I'll try to find the old emails

Found it: e-qstore and it was 36 usd including shipping. Be wary though, their English ain't the best

Thanks pal, I sent him a message so I'll wait for a reply
From what I know the inverter board is what gives the panel its power, I think someone told me what you can see on my first pic is a big ass one.
What worries me is that most panels I've seen don't have additional wires coming out of them as mine has

what else is there besides backlight and lvds?

Assuming the lvds is the one on my third pic and that backlight are the left and right one on my first pic nothing
But when searching I didn't see people having two times two plugs for backlight (or when comparing with the small one in pic related)
Would it be because of the old tubes it uses as its backlight?

Thats for the lights behind the LCD. For fuck sake if didnt know that then you shouldn't be touching this shit.
