Don't pay anything much for it if it looks like pic related.

Inspect roof. Use 3M 5200, not ordinary silicone or caulk, to seal it. Clean any areas to be sealed THOROUGHLY.

Read RV forums and google heavily.

If you are gonna move it, remove the wheels and inspect/repack or replace the wheel bearings. If the tires are dry rotted or old, replace them because if they peel off on the road they will fuck up your wheel wells and possibly wreck your ass.

When you get to destination, support trailer on blocks, not on the tires. You can choose to take care of your tires if anticipating moving again.

Obvious answer is build a tiny house on wheels so you don't have to Op. Get with the times trailers are for poor people.

Git gud, faggit

There's a reason only the poorest, shitty people live in these, and even then, they try to make them as much as real houses as possible

Park where u can hook up to water electric and sewer.

Brace up some foam board insulation around the bottom so your pipes dont freeze and bust.

Reolace all plumbing with pex for when it does freeze.

Properly vent propane heat and stove.

Find ways to wake up and not want to eat a shotgun while freezing...

Ensure all your propane fittings are in good order.
Get a smoke detector.

1) Grow a mullet
2) Never wear a shirt
3) Be a smoker
4) Be a drug addict or alcoholic or both
5) Never finish high school
6) Get plenty of tattoos

This is the bare minimum.

You've never seen a gypsy then. Filthy stinking rich living in caravans.

Make sure you put away your glass cookware before you attempt to drive away. You don't want the inside coated in shards of glass and nasty chemicals

The doors on campers are not great so they will be one of the first things to go. For a camping trip every once in a while it's not bad, but for living in you will constantly be opening and closing the door every single day. My sister and her husband lived in a camper for about a year after they got married and that was one of the first things that needed repair. Also roof leaks are very common on used campers and caulk doesn't always work. They had a carport built and parked the RV under that which kept the sunlight off in the summer and the rain off in the winter. Like I said living in it is not the same as camping in it. Space is very tight, there's no closet to put a decent wardrobe in or places for a lot of pots and pans. The sink is tiny so expect to wash dishes every night or consider using paper plates etc. Taking showers at night is extreamly cramped. Campers that size usually have a shower toilet combo at best so if you shower and need to poop a few minutes later your feet will get all wet going into the bathroom. Most hot water heaters are 5 gallons or less so when you shower you have to get wet, turn off the water, lather yourself up and shampoo, then turn the water back on and rinse off. Any longer than that and you'll be out of hot water in a heartbeat. Disposing of poop and gray water will mean every few days pulling the tank and dumping your feces and urine somewhere. Very gross stuff. Campers have very thin walls and most RV air conditioners aren't really built to cool them strongly. So expect to be warm in the summer. All day, every day. Most have queen/full sized beds which take up a lot of space. One person doesn't need a bed that big. Consider removing that and replacing with a cot and nice padding. Gives you a little more room and you can store stuff under the cot.

>inspect the roof
by that he means turn on a waterhose and douse the roof and check for leaks. if it leaks don't buy it because the owner likely knew and was hoping you wouldn't check.
