Alright /diy/ this is my first time posting here. I'll get right to it; I need to make a large mousepad, pic related.
The standard idea on google is cardboard and some fabric. I'm ok with this but I wanted to run it through you guys first.
I have no money to buy anything (hence diy) so please don't send me to the store. I'm trying to make a precise, steady mousepad (or mouse surface) focusing on effectiveness instead of aesthetics. Thanks.

be carefull about cardboard because most cardboard that can be easily found just laying around will be very suspectible to dents. Like if you press your palm into it when you're leaning to get something behind the monitor.
