Would anyone know how I can get this to light up? I plugged the power but nothing happened.
determine if all the constituents are functional

Why would they just turn on from having the power plugged in? Does your monitor just turn on when you plug the power in? No, you have to press a power button that sends some kind of logic signal to the PSU board.
it's functional. I know I need to turn it on, any idea how? Do I ground the green wire like a computer PSU? Im relatively new to electronic circuitry.
And yes, im bring very careful not to touch anything.

From the PSU side.
Underside. The 3 orange wires are grouped together.
Top side
I'm guessing the 3 grouped orange wires are ground since the leads circle around the board to the chassis mount screw holes. Would I be correct? If so, what would be the black wire be for?

look up the controller on the green board
find which pin is enable
set it to high or low (whatever it says)

I wouldn't know how to find the enable switch or how to set it to high or low. =(
Been a while since I played with one of these but I seem to recall one of those pins needed a voltage signal to control the dimming function. No input effectively dimmed it to zero

if you can look up the datasheet for the controller you can figure it out
From the board I used off amazon. Obviously your colors are different but maybe this can point you in the right direction

You only had 4 wires? Damn, I have 6 different color wires.
