>instructions say to wear gloves
>internet people say to wear gloves
>I didn't wear gloves
this stuff dries like superglue if you get it on your hands...wearing gloves is a good idea
>>1128320
and just hope to god you aren't sensitized to isocyanate, otherwise next time you use it you will be heading to the hospital.
Jesus fucking Christ I know what you mean. I was working with the stuff for a design project and fucked with it the whole time (cause of how fun it was to touch/I'm not the most accurate man) when it dried- holy. Fucking. Shit. Lost a couple years worth of calluses.
Tldr: Wear gloves or lose that thick skin perk.
>>1128341
You could just leave the schmoo on for a couple days
Also: You are like little babies. This stuff is great. Sticks to everything. Never comes out of clothes. Ever. Or leather gloves. Or anything. Will explode on a hot day if you forgot about it and left it in the sun.
Will explode if you have a mustache.

PR-820 pedestal foam. good stuff.

>>1128320
The only thing more fun in a can is 2-pack, polyurethane pouring foam
That shits just a hilarious fucking disaster every time its used
>>1128320
>this stuff dries like superglue
More like Gorilla Glue.
You fucking pussies...damp a rag with gasoline and wipe the shit off...dont ever get a man job you'd be laughed off the site...like you ever had callouses to begin with hahahahahhahha
Don't have much in the way of solvent stories, but I am a welder.
>one day, zipper handle to fly breaks and goes MIA
>pants otherwise still in good shape, so that just won't do
>grab some stainless TIG wire, cut and bend it into new handle, with multiple pieces bundled to give proper shape and bulk
>while wearing pants (for the leverage that provides for the fiddly assembly), fire up lift-arc TIG machine and weld
>just as planned, no complications or incidents
>still working today

I was working with that stuff once and for some reason thought it would be fun to spray a big mound of it and stick my hand in it. My hand turned into a mess of deep bloody tears because the stuff went hard and brittle down to flesh. I had a job interview the next day. The guy must have thought I had some terrible skin condition and didn't say anything. I got the job, so that's good.
>>1128398
I bet you eat cat shit as well dipwad fuckhead
>>1128398
at least you didn't make a fleshlight with it
>>1128411
shit thats not a bad idea. thanks anon
>>1128320
I do this with wood stain and varnish far too often, but usually comes off with some vigorous scrubbing.
>>1128505
Gel based stain is a fucking nightmare to get off, and it gets everywhere like shit on a blanket
>>1128320
HAHAHAHAHA.
Been there op. You'd think it would peel off...
>>1128380
Wow, im a real man on a mongolian snake taming forum.
Flex...

Water based or die. Fuck oil.

>fill electrical wire boreholes in joists with fireproof Great Stuff

ever try getting it out of your hair/scalp?
DAP white foam in the blue&black can is better, doesn't expand to 1000x its original size, and you can actually use the rest of the can another day as long as you clean the tip and a new straw.
Never use this shit around windows, it will either make the window near impossible to open later, or crack the glass from expansion.
The only time I use this stuff is for filling the 4" pipe hole that runs HVAC copper lines under and inside the house.
Use your drywall puttyknife and scrape it off your fingers, or use the most dull 'sharp' knife you have in your kitchen (sharp enough to scrape skin with hard pressure, but not sharp enough to slice your ass open)
And use latex gloves next time you ponce.

Because you're too retarded to get the correct can.
>>1128616
>too retarded to get the correct can
B-b-but there are so many I didn't know which one to choose.
>>1128505
now that I do always wear gloves for if I'm not using a brush
although I've used stuff like danish oil and tru-oil and they seemed to clean up pretty easily
if you really want to stain your hands, use some crack filler/roof patch without gloves; that stuff will color you in watermelon man proportions
>>1128561
I was able to file it mostly off after it dried, but there's still some stuck on there
>>1128575
I think great stuff was cheaper....
>>1128320
>this stuff dries like superglue if you get it on your hands...wearing gloves is a good idea
I once had it set while holding some bead in palce. My hand was stuck, so I pulled away harder... and left three fingertips behind.
>>1128654
>and left three fingertips behind.
bet you're embarrassed when in a group making a decision and the call is for 'a show of hands'
>>1128320
Like superglue? No. It's worse than superglue. Mineral oil is supposed to dissolve it but I don't keep it handy.
