So i just moved in an old house that got some minor problems i would like to fix.. but im not used to this doors stuff.
This is the bathtub slide door. It is made of acrylic.. the problem is that it get stuck because it expands with the heat (im guessing) making them somewhat concave so both the acrylics touch each other.. which makes it difficult to slide.
Any idea on how to fix it?
This a pic on the side so you can see the real problem

Throw it ina trash or be prepared to do battle every few months. Had one when i was a kid and dad hung a curtain rod after about year 4

It will expand with heat, but it will also absorb water (a few percent by weight total), and the wet expands bowing toward the wet.

Acrylic absorbs water?
I just got the stupids.

If it warps so they touch, how about giving one a very slight bend so it cannot?
Otherwise, redo that ganky bathroom.

Yes. Not much, but enough to cause expansion. Read the material spec sheets.
Or just take a flat piece and keep one side wet. It will be noticeably bowed in a few hours.

Rip it out. Who wants that piece of shit on their bath anyway
