Inside a tactical flashlight switch, there are 1 or more of these thin surface mount type clicky buttons. What are they called so I can purchase some (preferably on ebay for cheap)? They're about 3-4mm thick, but my search terms aren't showing me these buttons.

A thin surface mount tactile buttons is almost always spst momentary. Are you sure there aren't any electronics around it to form a latch?

No, momentary switches are exactly what they are. Light only stays on when pressed.
Just trying to figure out the 4 pins these tactile switches have. Either DPST or SPST that just happen to have 2 pins each side. Doesn't really matter either way.

SPST. four leads instead of two so they don't rip off the PCB so easily.
