Sup /diy/. I think something has died in the wall space of my apartment. The smell has been really bad for about a month now and is coming from a not entirely sealed part of the seam between the wall and the floor. I am planning to remove the lath and close the gaps with filler, but i wonder if there is some better way to fix this? I read online that a dead animal in the wallspace should be consumed by maggots in about a week so i have a fear that my downstairs neighbor, an elderly gentleman, might have died. Will check on him tomorrow.
call the landlord you idiot!

I don't see how the landlord can help here. I live in a 2nd world country, we don't have specialized services for this i don't think.

if a business has a list of 17 services they're not specialists in the 17th

Ok buddy. My point was that there probably isn't such a service where I live.

if you live someplace urban or suburban there definitely is.
