Does anyone have pics/screencaps of this guy's work? Searched archive to no avail. Thanks.
The Legendary Bunker bro is the most powerful of mythical creatures
I was just thinking it was time for Bunker Bro to give us an update too.
BUNKER BRO, I SUMMON YOU
>>1124007
Is he a man, is he a God? Nobody truly knows, but he surely lives close to /diy/'s heart. The most loved man by another men that people will ever know.
>>1123978
>he has an inside pool for diving
I'm still disappointed Bunker bro refuses to give us a simple map of what is in the damn thing. I'm not asking for much, just a serious of boxes and lines in mspaint about what is going where.
>>1123978

He probably likes to keep the illusion that his bunker is bigger than the Pentagon.
>>1124167
>Illusion

i think he's not allowed to
once he said that the government can take it over if they need to in the future so he's not allowed to detail the location or layout
>>1124155
There's an old bunker next to my dad's house, about a mile into the woods. It's empty and looked to be abandoned. It wasn't. Was greeted by MPs upon exit, apparently triggered an alarm going in. They explained it was still part of a contingency plan and thus guarded. I was 9 and inside for about 40 minutes.

Reminds me of an old army bunker I used to go to in my early teens with a group of friends. It was pretty amazing, hundreds of metres of unlit tunnels. The only way to access it was by climbing a moderately tall wall, inside a (at the time) construction site.
We found dozens of old papers and schematics dating back to the 1940s, they were very interesting. At some points in the tunnel there were ladders that led to turrets, pic related is one of those turrets. They still turned if we pushed it by the nozzle. It was about 2 Km away from the coast.
We kept planning about going there to spend a night, but we let go of that idea when we found used needles there. It was very likely used by drug addicts during the night, so it probably wasn't the safest place to spend a night.

Lol. I second this. I haul rocks out of the ground and dig tunnels for a living. If that pic of the guy inbthe boat isnt photoshop then these bunkers are mutherfucking massive. Im talking decades of 10-14 hours a day hailing rock out...

I am liscensed to play with dynamite if you want to add on sometime. Also can guide a large group of autists into mining it and making dirt roads anywhere you like or selling it to fund more bunkers.

How do you get power to the bunker? Are they usually already hooked up to the grid and you're can just run shit on the government's dime? Do they have their own power source (hidro, generators) ? Or do you just wire that thing into the breaker in your house?

They have enough bunkers (one of the reason they are selling), tho there might not be that many with home cinema rooms so have to be alert.
>>1125701
I'm currently scouting the other bunkers I bought. >>1124607 is "the hidden entrance" for the ammo depot.
>pic an emergency exit
Two years ago a group of urban explorers broke in thru this emergency exit as it was only sealed with a bunch of planks and gravel to hide it. Dept. of fortification re-sealed it with a cubic meter of rebar reinforced concrete. The location makes it impossible to use heavy equipment, so I will have to use a combo of power tools/chemical explosives on this. It's going to be a pain.
>>1126178
>I will have to use a combo of power tools/chemical explosives on this
You say pain, we say be sure to video the explosion(s) and link them in /diy/
I mean, I'd still respect him if he was going to have the bunker just to have it, since he's got the money.
But there's a part of me that wants to hear about awesome bunker parties, like some kind of futuristic rave.
I would like to do something similar, but its a lot of work.
i admire Bunkerbro for his work!
probably the best thing on 4chan, I salute you bunkerbro

stuff like that was happening in Banska Bystrica nuclear shelter in the 90s.

Why the fuck would they seal an EMERGENCY EXIT with something you can't remove? Did they expect to never use it again and never sell it, or what?
>>1127754
>Did they expect to never use it again
More or less. And it's not like you can't remove the plug when needed.
>never sell it
Plug = next owner's problem.
>>1127767
Insisting bunkerbro god of diy will ever get rid of his stash of bunkers or die...
>>1127754
>Did they expect to never use it again
While it seems a little odd, heavily reinforced concrete can easily be popped out of place and set aside. Your average person should be able to lift a regular door sized piece of this material. This is convenient for emergency egress, and allows for reuse of the concrete.
>>1126178
how many people could the bunker originally house long and short term?
>>1126178
>so I will have to use a combo of power tools/chemical explosives on this. It's going to be a pain
Can't you easily buy tannerite in America? I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to clear with 10 pounds of that, a concrete drill, and $15 worth of electronics for safe detonation.
>>1126178
Got redirected to the thread from a prep thread on /pol/
Considering the size and extent of the bunker, and the likelihood of unwanted guests, do you think it would be worth it to rig up a simple internal network for motion sensors?
Wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility to link up cameras, controls for lights, doors, heating, and maps in the future either.
>>1128315
IIRC bunkerbro's in Sweden or other neighbouring nation.
>>1128315
Yup. Like $100 for 50 pounds not counting the aluminum. I am so glad this shit exists.
Think u can have 200 pounds at any 1 location.
I buy one every 2 months or so and stash it somewhere.

Not even kidding.
I do it for a living. Fucking descieving how much shit comes out of a rock wall
>>1126987
spooky
>>1131217
>>1131476
that's not quite true. there arnt that many people involved. first they picked a geologically stable location, steadily bored into the rock and bolted the roof with a continuous bolt miner. for resource extraction they use something called a longwall mining rig which connects to the main entrance tunnel which has already been bored, fits into a side passage, then slowly strips off a chunk of the wall, inches forwards towards the wall, resets and strips off another chunk.
he just wanted to know how to make the hole in the ground for the bunker. well you can do that with a continuous bolting machine and very little else after assessing the mining site. it is the most dangerous job in the mining industry.
>>1132372
I can't imagine how consumables cost for that machine and how long it last in solid granite environment.
>>1124258
You should a kept the schematics that sounds like a great find
>>1128594
>Yup. Like $100 for 50 pounds not counting the aluminum. I am so glad this shit exists.
Retard, just buy AN, it's like $500/ton. You don't even need Al powder, diesel works just as better.
>Think u can have 200 pounds at any 1 location.
Unmixed I'm pretty sure you can have as much as you want. Mixed you can set off as much as you want so long as you don't store it, which requires a magazine.
That said Dexpan would be better than either assuming he is working alone/inexperienced with explosives

are you ok bunkerbro? (wrong country, I know)
>>1126210
Always.
>>1126978
Ja, men har kraftig ventilation så normalt på 60bqm, annars runt 1000 efter ett par dygn utan. 14000+ enligt mätaren när det stod oventillerat i ett par år.
>>1127754
Was supposed to never be used again.
>>1128144
Roughly 120 were stationed, it was supposed to be able to operate for roughly 9 months without any external contact (in case of nuke exchange).
>>1128359
Got loads of cctv cameras, that have motion sensor, speakers, mics, etc. Got fiber networking in every room and tunnel to control the infrastructure. You can see some fiber cables hanging in the back of the corridor in the pic.

Bunkerbro, what is the temperature in Celsius in these bunkers? I am looking into buying one for a winery in Switzerland.
>>1136058
I am guessing around a constant 10 degree all year because it is pretty stable the deeper you go into the ground
>>1135903
It was decommissioned in the 80s, so they had written it off the books and figured it was worthless. It's actually pretty decent, the location is awesome, top of a mountain with the sea below, so very nice view topside - for those few times you stick your head out.
>>1136058
Last summer was the hottest recorded since 1890, the temp inside was +10.5c. This winter it was -27c for two weeks, with an inside temp of +9.5c. Normally ~10c, so its not affected by external forces much. Humidity if not controlled is 95%+ in the summer, 0% in the winter. I have it at 50% (normal indoors).

>>1134012
Nah that ones just for ripping something soft like gypsum or salt or potash. They might be steel or they might be tungsten tips but they probably last year's.
The drillbits they use are diamond tipped and they only cost about e400 each and you'd use a few on each hole
Hope the local media doesn't get a hold of this story, Bunkerbro. Then everyone will know where you are and the inner details of your workings when SHTF.

There is one for sale right now in Sweden, been a bit in the news because a russian "bussines-man" might want to buy it. It is currently privatly owned.
>>1136632
isn't that a fuel storage with connection to the sea?
>>1138408
According to old thread, the mess of black lake bunker is crude in a fuel storage bunker, yes.
>>1136076
thank you for the pictures. i love looking at them
>>1140794
I think it's a water lake though. They just fill it with fuel which sits on top of the seawater and pushes it down and out of a vent at the bottom. As they remove fuel from the top, seawater rises and keeps the level constant (or near constant), no?
>>1142800
*Shrugs* I was just going off of information from several threads ago.
I don't think that that would be very environmentaly friendly doing as you suggest though, and water sortof does make petroleum not as good, and you then have to scrub the petroleum and water (think about what happens when a tanker spills)

Bunkerbro should consider a book about his adventures in a few years. More bunker money can't hurt.
>>1148650
I know I would buy one, but I get the feeling that it would create too much publicity for him and you would get hordes of people going in search of his bunker. I doubt that is something bunkerbro really wants, especially now his time is spread across multiple locations.
