6-axis sex robot guy asked me to tell you all that he is ok. He is just focusing on getting it calibrated. Even when it seems calibrated, it's best to give it another go just to be sure.

I wanted to build a small robot arm with some 5v motors or something. What would you say is the minimum motor size to have enough power?

That's not very specific, you probably wont get any useful advice unless you know exactly what size you want.

Having said that, I think there are lego kits what can make robot arms pretty cheaply

don't you mean servo? with just motor you'd need encoder to get its position. servo will do that for you
