I give up
I somehow damaged the top end of my nokia c2-01 so now charging and headphones only work if you lean on the cable so it pushes towards the screen side.
The headphone jack is non-replaceable unless i solder it off the mainboard, so I did all else I could. I made sure the screws are just right, I pulled all the contact bits inside it so they would make contact easier but no avail. I give up. Was there anything I could have done or was this a lost cause from the get go?

correct answer is soldering
ghetto answer is apply more pressure with tape
normie answer is get a new phone

I tried the tape trick, it didn't work. I'm no good at soldering, it'll just go up in literal flames (as opposed to metaphoric, where it's now)
fuck
i'll have to swallow my pride

go watch the PACE soldering videos on utoob

>I'm no good at soldering
So watch videos and PRACTICE on scrap until you are good.

If you really suck at soldering but are willing:
use flux
use low watt or battery powered small soldering iron, (not "cold heat" type ones that send juice through the tip and joint)

But, you can charge it with an USB cable instead of the original Nokia charger
Try to solder the pieces, isn't as hard as soldering an USB port to a phone board.
Or you can get another phone, same as yours and change the motherboard

All you had to do, was buy a new phone OP
