building my first computer. Everything fucking fits together except the front panel of the Raidmax Vortex V4 and the AF-120 screws. The screws are too big for the holes in the case and i really didn't want to rape the case's structure to get it to fit.
Is there anything i can do? or do i HAVE to get an electric screwdriver and widen the hole and force the screws in? any help is appreciated, since /g/ hasn't helped at all.
I really want to get this shit done quickly since this is the last thing to do before i actually turn the computer on.
So the AF 120 is a Corsair fan I assume?
And you want to mount it to the front of your case?
I've always found these to be good (pic related).
If you want to do it properly then find out what size screws you have and find out what thread pitch they have then drill and tap the hole.

In the mean time, just use tie wraps.

You see, that's another issue. The cable ties are too thick to pass through the hole gap in the front case. I try to ply it wider using a screwdriver (not the electric one, dont have one). And then try to see if the screws get in. Which they kinda do, but i dont have the space to align them so they end up inclined. I might buy those rubber mounts tho.
God damn it is this shit normal? i feel really bad that i have to do my own rape to the case just to make something fucking basic fit. It frustrates me to know that this shit is so simple yet it wont work straight out of the box.
Cable ties too wide to pass through cooler. Wont fit. Gotta get new ones but the hardware store is closed at this time. I feel very frustrated and i get no porn.

could me a faulty product - didn't get stamped right or something.
PS - there's no shame in modding a case to hold what you want it to. I do that shit all the time. If you gotta take a drill or a dremmel to it, do that shit up. That's why I never buy a case that costs more than like $40, because then I don't feel any remorse for cutting it up.
FUN TIP: use a dremmel to cut out the mesh cover off the rear fan exhaust, then install a basic fan grill, like in my image. Increases airflow and reduces noise.

Yes
You bought a cheap gayman case, what did you expect?
Its literally a 15$ steel case they threw some LEDs on it.
