Any simple ideas how to dull or coat this metal edges?
I got a case for my e-reader, and the litlte bend sheetmetal that keeps the magnetic flap closed is kinda sharp on the edges and I could see it easily scratching up other things in my bag. Very simple it seems, I just can't think of anything that could fix it.
closer picture of what I'm trying to dull or protect against.
Get a file or high grit sandpaper
epoxy/superglue something over it? like cloth or (fake) leather

That will work on metal you reckon? I highly doubt sandpaper would or would atleast require many sheets of it. Do I need a certain kind of file?

Sounds like a kinda good idea

No sir.

Did you do it yet?

Buy "rubber in spray" coating for auto rims.

One sheet. It doesn't even matter what grit.

I'd tell him to avoid sandpaper just because he seems stupid enough to scuff the part up.
Knife edge is my favorite way of deburring personally.
