Truss bridges are simple as fuck. I literally made mine the night before strength testing and it was somehow three times as strong as the next strongest design in the class. Of course, I learned nothing from the experience and my continued misplaced laziness and smugness meant that I dropped out not long afterwards.

im planning on going with the warren design as it looks easiest. im going to have to design the whole thing on google sketchup and write a paper with the calculations for the estimated forces (i hope to carry about 20 kg = 44 pounds at the center of the bridge), then i have to build the actual thing with sticks of balsa wood and woodglue
