About a year ago I built my first pc. Everything was fine. A few months later when computer was off I noticed cpu fan was running. Researched, tried everything blew mobo with canned air, reset computer, updated bios, put new thermal paste, temps were fine before 33c @ idle, contacted Msi and they said same thing I already did. The cpu fan is a stock intel cpu cooler. mobo is Msi H170 Gaming M3. Maybe one of you diy bros can help? pic unrelated.

>If your fans are running even after you've turned your computer off, the issue may be caused by a residual charge left on your motherboard. To troubleshoot this you will need to perform a cold boot. Turn off your computer completely, then unplug everything -- including the power cord -- from the tower. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then plug everything back in and start your computer normally.

Get a new cpu cooler. Why would you even use the stock Intel cooler? it's a pile of dogshit.
