Last night I was pretty drunk.
Long story short I missed a step and fell off my patio about 4ft into a lake behind my house. I had my headphones plugged into my phone and was listening to music and smoking.
My phone is water resistant so it's working fine, the headphones also still work but the foam in the ear piece on one side is wet and cold.
Any idea how to dry this out?
It's about 40 outside so I can't put them in the sun.
Just time?
Is this kinda foam like downfilled blankets? Will it ever dry?
They aren't expensive but they are my favorite pair for sentimental reasons

yeah
and out it in the oven and turn it up very slightly to make it warm
or put over radiator
Just put them somewhere and point a fan at them for a day or two.
The vapor pressure will have them dry in no time considering how dry most homes are in winter

yup... I mean you could press a dry cloth into the foam to try to absorb as much of it as possible, but beyond that you just need to give it time.
Dont try to speed it up by using heat either, since it drying too fast can damage the membrane used by the speaker. Just set it aside for a day or 2.
