I am a part-time firefighter in my town and we receive our calls by a little Motorola receiver (padget). However, as I was about to charge it, my charger just broke like pic related. There is no electronic stores nearby and the bosses aren't there until Monday. Fortunately, my batteries are full but I am not sure it will last until Monday morning.
Help?
wasn't that a micro usb connecter?
Unless you are an apple fanboy you should have tons of those laying around, if not just call almost anyone you know and ask if they can spare one.

Dude I love you. I didn't know a Samsung charger was compatible with other devices. It's charging. Thank you so much
That looks like a micro-USB port, pretty common. If there is a thrift store nearby they've probably got one that will work, if not go to another one. USB charging is pretty standard and I wouldn't worry about harming the device as it will only draw what it requires..

To be fair, if he's not technically savvy, it's best to ask before doing anything.
