How can I assemble this as one piece.

The spring should have end coils to hold it in the two holders
>>1101828
the closes thing that comes to mind in the function that im trying to achieve is a toilet paper holder, even though thats not what this is for.
>>1101842
Well then what the fuck is it for then?
>>1101844
its for a collapsible stock
>>1101823
wow, just wow
>have inactive coils on the spring
>thread the inside of where the spring goes
>screw the spring into the threads
>>1101847
That's so stupid, just buy an airsoft folding stock if you can't get the real thing.

Ok I see what you're trying to do now, ideally that should be achieved by a shoulder machined onto the plungers that stop them from falling out of the body, you can also try using pins inserted perpendicular to the axis.
Or you could make one piece solid with a threaded hole and secure the other with a screw that goes through it. Would still need a shoulder on one of them to keep it inside the body.

this is what i came up with
>>1101847
Just use a pneumatic spring. Theyre cheap and what you want.
Incidentally, I've found that springs are rather annoying to get in small amounts.
You should consider that when designing your shit.

How you have your sbr paper work if in USA.

no stock no sbr = pistol

That's because you're supposed to make them yourself, dummy.
>>1101823
Thread both ends?
>>1101823
Finally got it done.

weld the spring to the caps by connecting a car battery to the ends of the assembled set for a couple of seconds.

looks like shit
