I want to learn how to use a jewelry design program called Matrix from Gemvision. I heard you have to pay $10k for the lesson and the program itself. Is there a cheaper way to get just the software? It doesn't seem that hard to learn.

How is this any different to any other CAD app?

No sadly, it's a niche product made for jewellery designers so the price reflects that
You can get Rhino for a free trial tho, Matrix is a plug in for Rhino

I'm sure there's a torrent or something for it... Just look hard enough
Op here. Thanks, guys. There must be a torrent for it somewhere because I saw people using it without a license. For the mean time, I'll look into Rhino and see if I could get it.

You'd be better of just pirating some 3D design software and learn off internet tutorials.
I remember working at a place who used Rhino and it was massively shit compared to something like 3DSMax, you just throw a bunch of shapes together give no fucks about the verts or anything, child's play.
Is it worth it? Just learn Blender or some shit, I can't think of any advantages some ultra-niche software has compared to the status quo
I've 3D modeled jewelry for quite some time now and I use Cinema 4D. It's all good if you know what you're doing.
Just use autocad
Here's an idea. Hire someone to crack the software. Offer and sell the software on the darkwebs.
