Hi
I would like to build a Homestead complete with farm, sauna, and yurt not unlike pic related or Earthship.
But I haven't really nailed it yet: 1st I need some land 2nd I need to decide the exact architecture of my structure.
I am requesting any information regarding minimalist dachas or Thoreau-ian homesteading. I am attempting to do this by hand.

This thread materializes when an unskilled individual who lacks the knowledge or resources in construction or self reliance but fantasizes about going full blown /diy/. Always it is about going off grid, feeding on nothing but the land, with zero specificity. While we could spend thousands of posts discussing how each of these individual topics, it is much simpler for you to just google them. The probability of you doing it will remain zero, and the fact that you will not understand even half of it. Therefore this thread is utterly pointless. Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. But, rest assured, this will be the six hundredth time we have stopped it, and we have become exceedingly efficient at it.
