Okay, so I see i have fucked up my post. Let me try again. I am currently trying to build a vaporizer circuit that will switch from series to parallel using mosfets, the thing I'm having trouble understanding is whether I should get p channel mosfets or n channel mosfets. It seems that I want n channel mosfets but I keep second guessing myself due to not being able to tell if any of the voltage in the circuit will be negative (depending on what is considered "ground" at any point in time). I have drawn my circuit in circuit logix, ignore mosfet p/n as they are incorrect.
