To me, a manly job is one that woman can't do or are generally unwilling to do. It should also be useful even during or after a crisis.
As far as entry level jobs that fit these criteria, I can think of construction worker and farmer. Military doesn't count because I don't want to die for Israel.
Any other good entry-level jobs? Also, what are some good cities to go to for construction or farming jobs? I currently live in Washington DC.

upholstering is one of the 5 original industrial arts

Welding, construction, hvac.
Any meme teir votec shit not centered on technology.

I'm a custom fabricator. I've been doing hotrods for 20 years.
If you can't do every aspect of a build (drivetrains, chassis/suspensions, body/paint AND interior), then you're just a mechanic or welder or painter. Not a builder.

is that image from a porn? if so I would like a link if possible.
Sanitation and waste removal.

Protip: Just about every "farm wife" here in the midwest can every thing on the farm. What do you think they do all day during the busy season? Bake pies? Small farm outfits barely scrape by so there isn't a person there that doesn't contribute. Not to mention that historically women were the ones who tended to the crops.
Now if you're just talking about jobs that most women tend to shy away from, anything with manual labor but this is becoming less and less true too.
Construction jobs can be had anywhere. Look for a large metro area if you want to do commercial work. Suburbs if you want new house construction.
You're not going to get a farming job because small farms are family run and large farms just employ Mexican women to do non-skilled labor.

I was doing construction had about 20 female workers.

Would poking a few small holes in my frame fuck uo my shit? I wanna run a bunch of 3/4 chicken lights and not roll around on the floor for a week. Figured i would put them in square tubing and just bolt it to the side of the frame since it hangs under the body.
;(
Or do i have to weld fucking studs on or something?

Is there a market for cast aluminum parts?
Thought about making some valve covers for myself but my foundry needs rebuilt.

not really
President of the USA?
Is there a traditional route to get my foot in the door for some of the craft trades other than walking into a shop and asking for an apprenticeship or something?
I hate my job and spend all my days bent over a workbench or a sewing table or something all day anyway, occasionally selling small art commissions or gemstone jewelry and shit. Make some dresses for my girlfriend sometimes. I want to step up and sweep a master's shop in exchange for truly and properly learning a trade.
Already poor so I'm not real concerned with getting rich
>>1088573
I don't think that women 'shy away' from trades, it's more that they're never encouraged to do them in the first place.

STEM.
Particularly on the software or engineering side.

literally every field has entry level positions.

Yeah, all three of them are get nailed, hard.

t. Reddit cuck.
It has nothing to do with the fact that women are biologically weaker than men and not fit to do jobs that demand heavy lifting all day long. Nope nothing at all.

it's called trade school

>Military doesn't count because I don't want to die for Israel.
The LEAST functionally relevant part of a military career is the purpose of a mission. The risk of death or injury in the military is less than some trades unless you choose unwisely AND have some serious bad luck. Shit ain't Full Metal Jacket, yo.
OTOH the technology is often mad fun to work with. Sillyvilians don't know vast variety of military careers and subsequent career options.
From how many trades can you retire in your late thirties/early forties and never need to work again? Check pay and benefit packages, and do the math. I went Chair Force in a recession, never felt one since, and retired young with home(s), shop and toys paid off. Between ETS and likely death I'll see well over a million dollars in pay and benefits. America affords war by DEFERRED COMPENSATION. Even with typical benefit attrition the deal is crazy good unless you are a shitbag and unlucky. Get injured in the trades and watch your finances collapse. Much love for machining, welding, wrenching and electronics. I've done them throughout my adult life and do them for pleasure, but I broke down the options long ago and did the career math.
Unless being a wage slave and dying in harness looks good, have a solid plan with solid backup plans whatever you do, and that infuckingcludes examining how old fuckers in their forties and later make out in their career choices. Plan for recessions because they are normal periodic events. IDGAF what you do, but think first and in detail lest ye screw thyself by stovepiping your options. Most successful tradesmen have a variety of skills and never stop learning including adult education. The Boomer model of doing one thing until you die hasn't been safe in forty years. Choose a trade least likely to be flooded with foreign labor, most likely to benefit from experience (once in, others cannot instantly catch up) and ignore memetards without specific professional experience.
>>1088699
Trade school then mentoring and OJT. Go the fuck to school for a grounding in theory and practice so you won't be useless in the beginning.
Pure school ain't shit. Pure mentoring is slow and depending on your mentor may omit many things you should learn but mentor has no time to teach, and often may not have learned in detail because stovepiped running a shop.

You're autistic, you're going to get raped by your prospective Co workers.
build fences op, easy enough to offer help digging post holes and hauling boards. take welding classes at a cc after that so you can branch out.

>>1088880
To be fair, most construction jobs don't actually involve constant heavy lifting. Not to mention the heavy work is for the low man on the pole.
Firefighter.
>>1088383
Those helmets either don't have liners, or they're way fucking over-sized.
Hey OP the only thing that fits your criteria is sperm donor.
>>1088383
I think that a lot of women worked as farmer in the past. I mean, if they asked children to work to the farm, why not women ?
>>1088383
i'm thinking of getting into forestry, arboriculture specifically. climbing a tree with a chainsaw over your shoulder dismantling trees in a safe and controlled manner is as manly as it gets imo
>>1092039
What is your long term career and retirement plan? Always run the numbers. Life is a shit sandwich so the more bread you have, the less shit you taste.
>>1092043
you know, at this point it's more of just an idea. i'm 24 and looking for a fallback plan in case i fuck up in school, consequently my last name literally means "one who works with trees" so i almost feel destined to work in it. for now just trying to find a good company to learn with since the first few years you are basically just a branch/tool hauler until you build up the knowledge. thinking of working on an online amazon business reselling chinese made crap since arborists typically don't make a whole lot ($30-40k a year). i'm studying IT at the moment and am almost graduated so i will probably just slave away indoors, an outdoor profession sounds much more fulfilling for me though
I'm a machinist, it's a pretty good job. You have to haul around metal occasionally, but it's not too bad. I thought I was destined for an office job, had a website managing position for about a year and wanted to blow my brains out. Went to trade school to get some basics down then found a shop to get more experience. Make about 50k now and still learn new stuff every day.
>>1092128
Also, the shop I'm in would take anyone off the street, with no experience. 2 week trial, if you listen to instructions and aren't a dumbfuck, you can succeed. Just got to put yourself out there and find somewhere like that
>>1088477
And welcome to my pawn shop
I like how /pol/ has spread to every board as its prevalence has risen
>>1088750
Do they also get screwed? What about hammered?
>>1091817
But they're female? Did you even think before typing that out?
I dropped out of community college and theres almost no trade schools in my area. What do
Im not american but i dont know what i am going to do for a career in life, currently out of high school and working at mcdonalds and studying to get some money in, but i am thinking about going for a trade like welder/smith/something to do with ventilation but i am very unsure of what to do, i have ADD and that causes me problems so could you recommend me a job that a halfwit ADD-tard could do?
>>1088383
OP, if you want to farm, move a few hours north just over the border into Pennsylvania and integrate with the Amish. :^) Plenty of non-Amish field-tenders too.
get a load of this faggot.
>>1088880
If you think that trades are all about heavy lifting, you've never done a trade, and you've certainly never done any heavy lifting.
It's ignorant shitheads like you that are holding society back.
>>1092346
Yeah go tell that to your wife's son, cuck :^)
>>1092419
We have a daughter. I look forward to teaching her about construction.
>>1088705
I actually think it may relate to the bell curve
take
>>1090646
for example. No I don't want to fucking haul boards and fucking dig holes. I dont give a shit how manly it is. its fucking backbreaking monkey mule labor. billy bob hurr durr blue collar dimwit can haul the boards and other stupid laborious physical tasks. not me. im not at the bottom of the curve
>>1092656
All manly jobs are hard work, so don't do them.
Wanting a "manly" job for it's supposed manliness is fucking stupid.
Have manly HOBBIES instead. You can change those when they bore you.
>>1088477
>not mining your own iron

>>1092564
"Ok Cuckette, this is how you build a man up.... and then tear him down, taking 50% of his stuff and 18 years of child support"
>>1092331
For one drop the add excuse, it can be a problem yeah but it's something you can work around. Get meds for it and don't run around telling people that you have it and that's what's holding you back
