Hi /diy/ers.
If theres anyone here who knows electrics or can understand whats going on here I would massively apreciate a reply.
Ive been fitting a kitchen which includes some LEDs, 2 of which run from 240 and obviously have built in transformers and the other 2 have a transformer they plug into.
I ran a wire up to the loft and found the power wire to the light switch in the kitchen. I cut the wire and added a junction box and connected the wire for the LEDs in to this. By my understanding this should mean the LEDs are permanently live and the main light works by the switch as the LEDs have independant switches.
When switched back on with the light switch on the main light works but the LEDs do nothing. Then when the light switch is off it causes the LED lights to flash like a strobe effect and the main light also flashes in time with them.
When removing the ones with built in transformers from the circuit the exact same thing happens.
When removing the ones with the external transformer one light works as it should but the other still strobes.
Does anyone have any idea what the hell could be going on here?
Ive attached a simple diagram. Not an electrician but done a lot of simple things but never fitted this type of light. Thanks.

Post links or names of specifically what you bought and tried to wire in...
You don't have enough detail yet
I didnt order the stuff, the customer got the items and this was included with what they got. These are the leds that use a transformer but they have nothing to indicate what they are. The others are light boxes with led strips but not sure what they are exactly.
No idea whats going on with your wiring, but your diagram appears to show a switch across phase and neutral. If that still looks okay to you, for your own safety its time to find a sparky.
The "power in" on your diagram is not power in.
The led's are hooked across the switch.
When the switch is ON the led's power is effectively shorted
When the switch is OFF the led's are being powered through the other lights.

oops, that pic is "always on"
For the led's to switch with the wall switch, hook up across the other lights.
