I just bought a sword recently (pic related) and I want to mount it to my wall. The easiest way I can think to do this would be to hang it upside-down vertically. I could do this by having it rest on two nails on either side of the blade. My only problem is I want to make sure this would be stable enough so that it doesn't fall off the wall. I'm not sure of the exact weight but it shouldn't be any more than 6 pounds.
Would a couple of nails work, or do I need to take a few extra steps and get some stronger mounts for it?
kill yourself you dumb fat bitch
get a guitar mount

>use dry wall anchors
or, you know, find a stud like a sane person who doesn't want their sword to fall on the bed while they're jerking off and watching judge judy for the second or third time that afternoon

Studs aren't as wide as the sword. Also, an anchor will hold way more that six pounds.

>Studs aren't as wide as the sword
>yeah man, there's only like 2 studs in this wall and they're right next to eachother, that's a thing people do

OP here. Thanks for showing me this. Stopped me from spending $15 on a sword mount when this looks like it will work just fine.
Hang it with a horses hair above your guests seat at dinner

Two nails.
So you can lift it off anytime for defense.
