Mount the bracket vertically.

With no VESA-compatible mount points? Tape.

I hate manufacturers that don't follow standards to meet an aesthetic goal that isn't even that important.
>>
sure it will be fine if you are laying down, but you have to be laying down a certain direction. Mounting it the correct way would be more beneficial. Or maybe mount it on a Lazy Susan and then mount that on the wall. Then you can orientate it to the orientation of your body. Useful if you have a recliner so you can put it at 45 degrees

screw carefully into the plastic.
>>
>>1082993
If you are keeping it on a desk, why not make a stand for it? Like a oversized version of a tablet stand.
>>
>>1082996
But what is OP going to do when the screen doesn't rotate. Because that monitor may only work one way. It's not a smartphone.
>>
>>1083043

That aspect is handled by the GPU, not the physical screen.

What OP needs are these and a VESA stand:

that was just a trial run to see if I liked that orientation, eventually bought a good IPS panel for portrait gaming.

I took the plastic back panel on mine and screwed it to the stand after i had separated the stand and the monitor, then just assembled the panel back on the screen. Viola!

Since this is /k/ I recommend using 6d nails in your SKS to mount to your wall. Then, go innawoods.

Lots of clamps.
You could reasonably manufacture a 6/10 aesthetic mounting solution out of clamps.
>>
>>1083567
in that case....
Step one: give my ur number
2: i mount it for you
3: blow me
4:done!
>>
are you sitting on toilet to take pic? just glue it to a mount if you dont care about getting it off in one piece again
>>
>>1083806
>just glue it to a mount
thas actually not that great idea.. its thin ridged plastic, and there is neither VESA mount plate or reinforced mount screw points - basically, I wouldn't trust glueing it on to something, and hoping it stays there.

The only way would be, using brackets (as said previously) or the existing foot, which has a plate at the bottom (bit you've taken off) - this is so much hassle, be better off with literally Any Other Monitor that has a VESA mount. And thats All Of Them, except these Samsung POS.

The way I do it;

1) Pop the back plastic case off the monitor.
2) Find a nice spot for a 120x120mm plate (hole pattern of 100x100 for mount)
3) Smear of epoxy, stick inside. Drill holes out to outside, stick another plate there (so metal, plastic case, metal plate, held with bolts and epoxy).
4) Mount.

Mines been holding for ... 3 or so years now?

Too lazy to take a picture, but here's an example ... just do it less shit.
>>
>>1083043
Let's take a minute to appreciate that this guy thought you can only use a monitor one way.
