Most bongs use tempered glass
Tempered glass can't be cut

A propane torch will melt glass

Natural Gas + Oxygen will get the job done. Cut by scoring with a glass tubing cutter and gently knock the parts off.

will propane work?

It also would have exploded when it broke. Which it didn't.

The most reliable way to remove material from glass is with abrasives.

Absolutely will, just harder to control. Dont blow a hole through your tube, big long strokes are key.
also a good tip is that if you fill the tube with hydrogen before bending, it will make it easier because it keeps pressure on the walls so they dont collapse.

will i be able to do this but with propane? I only have the bernzomatic propane kind
