Hobby lobby? I looked in that store once and it was nothing but home decor and wood shapes. Didn't see a single hobby item except a rather decent paint section.

I'll check the other two you listed, I don't need much, just need high quality. Fastanal wanted something like $60 a foot for some.

Also some ACE hardware stores carry small amounts of sheet metal.

My local Home Depot and Lowes carries brass sheets too so check there.

If you have Amazon prime, it's pretty convenient for ordering raw materials in small quantities.
For brass sheets look up:
260 Brass Sheet, Unpolished (Mill) Finish, H02 Temper, Standard Tolerance, Inch, ASTM B36

It should let you pick the thickness and dimensions.

Bronze is generally horrendously expensive anywhere, which is a shame as I'd love to make some knife bolsters out of it, brass not so much and there should be a few places that stock it in sheets
