what the fuck
>>1078724
fake, no ammonia. everyone knows ammonia is the ingredient to make the mix glow

Anyone actually done this? Is it "as advertised"? I don't want to ruin my screen.
>>1078848
Off course it ruins your screen, you are cutting your polarized filters into glasses
But yes it would work
>>1078848
Optics fag here. Never done this, but it seems legit. One note though. The polarized film only works in one orientation, so when you cut it out of the screen, draw an arrow on it indicating which direction was up. Then, when cutting out film for your glasses, make sure to cut it so that the film is facing "up" in the glasses. Chances are good that if you tilt your head too much to the left or right, you are going to lose the image, so when you watch, you can only watch with your head straight up.

I saw a clip about 10-15 years ago about a company actually selling glasses like that
their main selling point was when you're on a plane ...

> Most bizarre DIY shit.
I spent several hundred dollars of money i didnt really have to blow on building a foundry and casting metal dicks out of our old beer cans.
I regret nothing.
Dickfarmer checking in.

This are cool af anon. Thanks

Classic diy. I want to cut my screen apart but don't want it ruined.

>Do not drive nails all the way into forms. Bend ends
Why's this?
>>1078905
>That's sort of why I want it. I'm just really paranoid about people looking at my screen in public.
So stop looking at loli porn while in public
>>1078899
If you drive them completely, you'll be fighting the nails to make the bend. You drive them just enough to secure, let them get torqued into the right angle, then finish the assembly.

Bleach and Alcohol creates shit tier chloroform, don't do that stuff indoors lads

That looks terrible though, and a local print shop can screen print a shirt for like $20
>>1079037
>one off for $20
Yeah right.

It will look pretty fucked up. You won't be able to hold your head in the perfect position or position both lenses perfectly in both eyes.
The better method is to use lcd shutter glasses. It displays your normal image and then the color inverse of it, but the glasses blank out the color inverse so persistence of vision gives you the right picture.
I can't find any documentation if nvidia 3d vision does it or if you'd need to find a less popular solution to do what you want.

I really would love to learn how to do that. To be able to melt down scraps i.e beer cans into molds just to make some stuff. Any links or know any good reading materials on making a small foundry/forge?
